Dear competitors!

We challenge you for the ride and/or the run of your life!

The sporting committee offers you the unique possibility to participate in either a 4 mile run or a 1 hour spinning ride so you can have a fresh start of the monday morning program!

Please respond for the following options to the corresponding e-mail adres.

Option I. An outdoor 4 mile run in the beautiful scenery of Maastricht, guided by Rob Moonen, paediatrician/neonatologist. rmoo@paed.azm.nl . Assembly at the conference hotel lobby at 7 am. Weather is normally pleasant, but can be somewhat humid/chilly in the morning.

Option II. An indoor spinning ride under the professional guidance of  a former cyclist, guided by Christine Willekes, gynaecologist/perinatologist. cwi@sgyn.azm.nl. Please note that the lesson will start at Il Fiore Health Center, located on the Avenue Ceramique 201, 7 am sharp! An additional 10-15 minutes is needed to reach the facility and dress/change before and/or after the occasion. Lessons are free of charge but enscription is binding! Route by foot – Total walking time: app. 15 minutes:
- From Entrance of Hotel L’Empereur go right into the Stationsstraat;
- At the roundabout ‘Stationsstraat’ – ‘Wilhelminasingel’ go left;
- Follow this street, also when the street name changes into ‘Avenue Ceramique’, after 600 meters Il Fiore Healthcenter is located on your left hand site.

Route by bus – Total time: APP. 5 minutes – Costs: app. € 2,20
- The central bus station is located between Hotel L’Empereur and the central Railway Station of Maastricht. Take bus number 1 to DE HEEG or bus number 3 to HEUGEM. They arrive at the central station around 6.33 hrs and 6.47 hrs. You have to get out at station ‘Avenue Ceramique/Museum’ . Il fiore Health Center is located on the other side of the street.
